Toronto’s Rogers Centre is the most Instagrammable stadium in Canada, and BMO Field is third.
New research has revealed that Toronto’s Rogers Centre and BMO Field are among the most Instagrammable stadium in Canada.
A new study by online casino comparison service CasinoBonusCA, analyzed Instagram hashtag data on stadiums with over 10,000 permanent seats in Canada to discover the most Instagrammable stadium in the country.
The study reveals that Rogers Centre in Toronto is the most Instagrammable, with a hashtag-to-seating ratio of 4.08. The stadium has amassed 169,205 posts under the hashtag #rogerscentre. Rogers Centre can seat 41,500 guests for both sporting and entertainment events. The stadium is home to the Toronto Blue Jays and hosted Juno Award Winner The Weeknd in September last year for his “After Til Dawn” tour.
The BMO Field takes third place with a score of 1.48. The Toronto structure is home to Toronto FC and the Toronto Argonauts. It has recorded 41,438 hashtags under #bmofield. With a seating capacity of 27,980, it will be a CONCACAF Nations League host this year and host the FIFA World Cup in 2026.
Looking at the study, a spokesperson for CasinoBonusCA commented:
“Canada has several stadiums that play a multipurpose role in hosting sporting and music events throughout the year, so this study gives an interesting insight into which stadiums are the most popular on social media. It will be exciting to see which stadium will garner more clout as they welcome sports and entertainment stars alike throughout 2023.”
